+++Although Tim Fishel Motorsports is a new name in the Karting industry make no mistake Tim Fishel is no “rookie” in this business. From a very young age Tim has always had an interest in engines and tinkering with anything and everything. Rob Fishel, Tim’s Grandfather was the owner and operator of a well known small engine repair shop in the small town of Advance, NC. Tim always looked up to his grandfather and was following in his footsteps from the time he was old enough to walk. Tim worked with his grandpa every day learning as much as possible about engines and the values of life. Rob always taught Tim to treat people fair and do the best in everything you do. The same values he carries with him today in his own business.

+++Tim has been involved In kart racing for 17 years as a competitive racer in the southeast and has worked in the Karting industry for 9 years. Tim started out working at Mishue Motorsports at the age of 15, cutting/prepping tires, tearing down engines and doing final engine assembly. It didn’t take long before Mishue discovered Tim’s knack for horsepower and in no time he was a complete engine builder at Mishue Motorsports filling in for their previous engine builder, Louis Humphrey.

+++In 2006 Tim Fishel and Matt Connell teamed up to add an engine package to the equation of MC Motorsports tire business bringing Tim along as the head engine builder where together they accomplished numerous wins and championships from coast to coast. As the wheel turned Tim and Matt came to an agreement to separate the tire and engine program to the better of themselves and most of all you the racer. Our goal at Tim Fishel Motorsports is to provide each and every customer with Elite horsepower and build a quality relationship with each one of our customers.
